I had decided that I would make today a ‘special’ day within the shrine at Lourdes, with lots of special intentions and people to remember, I had decided to ‘make the day of it’
So that’s what I did,almost…I did spend a leisurely morning eating Pain au Chocolat, drinking coffee and watching the day go by, interspersed with visits to the Accueil to get on/off the internet !
Eventually, after lunch, and spruced up, I walked to the sanctuary area, it was cool, but dry, and sometimes even the sun put in a hesitant appearance
There were lots of people there, but by no means what it’s like around certain feast days, and later on in the warm weather – although the Italians were there…chattering as usual !
Suffice anyone who’d asked, and didn’t ask …were remembered in a very pleasant afternoon and evening,
