Stuffed by the Germans !

A cooler start to the day today, but I was soon out on the rounds with Thomas examining the campsite next door, for the last time, and he was soon asleep, whilst I wandered through the hordes of people that had arrived yesterday, it being a Holiday weekend in Canada for labour Day on Monday coming.

I then returned home, to start my packing for my return home tomorrow, whilst there were some scattered showers, which didn’t last long

We all then went into Banff for a walk along the Bow River, to Bow Falls, where I was soon happily posing for pictures, with my constant companion, whilst we continued walking along the path at the side of the river, to the basin just below the falls , with good views of upstream and the falls

Then we went to the Waldhaus Pub http://www.fairmont.com/banff-springs/dining/waldhauspub/  part of the Banff Fairmont Hotel, and the most upmarket pub I’ve ever been in ! We all decided on a light lunch,which consisted of main course, and huge,lovely desserts…Black Forest Roulade for me, and Chocolate Fondue with fruit and marshmallows for Mum + Dad , whilst Thomas made his usual ‘deposit’ , which me and Dad managed to fix in the ‘gents’ !!

We then all wandered back along Banff Avenue, window shopping, and then went back to our accommodation, still stuffed and ready for a rest..

So all to do now, is pack and sleep…

Big Brother Sean is collecting me tomorrow for the start of my trip home, via Calgary, and so I should be arriving home mid Monday..
