Now, Where Did I Put that Spear Gun ?

A lovely sunny morning in Ste Maxime, and with every good intention I was up early, ready or a nice bike ride… however a couple on a better pitch, were leaving, and offered me a ‘swop’, so I delayed and swopped… actually to the same pitch I’d been on last year (or whenever I was last here!), consequently it was almost 1030 before I set off along the coast road, quite busy, to try to find a bike route I’d seen marked out…I couldn’t so sped along through St Aygulf, and eventually into Frejus, 22 kms away http://www.frejus.fr/ …where the chap at the Tourist information was very helpful – although I’d had ‘fun’ getting there, seeming to ride round the town centre several times before  located it !

Anyhow he gave me some excellent road maps (all free!), and I had a drink outside in a nice sunny square..

then it was back on the bike, and another ride back along the coast to the campsite, just in time for lunch, and shelter from the mid day sun after a ‘relaxing’ 30 mile bike ride..and a bit of a ‘snooze’, lovely !

I couldn’t hang about all day though, work still to be done…I had to test out the new snorkel and flippers, so it was another change, and across the road to the beach… for my swimming/snorkelling and sunbathing session… phew it’s non stop this life..could do with a holiday  !

Not being a ‘sun worshipper’, I only spent an hour or so on the beach, then was back to Wally, and another Fish BBQ..excellent, and a pleasant evening…although, as you know I can never rest, so popped out for some more fish..and amazing.. look what was caught..
