The Alaskan Adventure at an End ?

Up and about early at 7 a.m. to pack up, and leave on our final day of Alaskan adventure, leaving the campsite just after 9 a.m., as it had taken some time to dry the tents after overnight rain, and clearing whatever need in the trailer, we left the unusual campsite, setting off along the roads toward Anchorage, until we called into Aleyshka ski resort http://www.alyeskaresort.com/ where some of us went for a final trail walk through the woods, and along the creek, with the usual ‘Bear warnings’ posted everywhere, although there were no signs of any, but plenty of people walking jangling bells as they walked ! I had time for one final ‘danger’ as I walked across a log across the creek (even backwards) and then back to the van, and trip towards Anchorage, briefly stopping at Beluga point http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=viewinglocations.belugapoint but, alas no sightings, so we continued and got to the start Hotel, the Ramada in Anchorage for a good clean !

Then it was out on the town, for a final dinner together before everyone (apart from me) went home tomorrow. We went to a  speciality seafood restaurant The Bridge http://bridgeseafood.com/ for a good meal, and brief drink at a bar on the way back to Hotel, before we all collapsed for a good nights sleep…our adventure together at an end !
